About Me

After almost 10 years at The Age, I left to pursue a freelance career, gaining many new commercial and editorial clients.

In 2013, my partner Peter and I welcomed our first son, Quincy. The three of us, plus two cats, moved from Melbourne to beautiful Jan Juc, next to Torquay on Victoria's Surf Coast. Our second son, Roy, was born in 2015, and we were recently joined by Peggy, our boisterous Australian Terrier puppy.

Whilst much of my work has continued to be in Melbourne, since my sea-change I have also been enjoying working with local identities and businesses to provide effective professional photography. My adaptive style and broad skillset suit a wide range of clients who are looking for dynamic images to showcase their brands or capture beautiful family memories.

I've been in love with photography since high school.

Introduced to photography by my wonderful teacher, Mr Kerry Short, I spent countless lunch breaks excitedly developing negatives and making prints in the school darkroom. I went on to study at RMIT University, where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial and Illustrative Photography.

Following Uni, I joined the staff at The Age Newspaper as a Features and Magazines Photographer. There I became known for my food, fashion and portrait photography. I loved the pace of the paper and its broad variety of interesting assignments.
